I have always believed that life is a learning process. This is the reason I don’t take thing for granted. I let life play its own course on the choices I make in some aspects. Let’s take for instance how I started my career in Production I was very inspired with action films and I thought I would be good if I am to produce action movies. I was however proved wrong and I am not dis-satisfied about the choice I have made.
You would be surprised to find out that the first action flick I directed never went down too good with my senior. This however came to me as a fluke when I was to direct a comedy film. The first comedy I made was a huge hit and my boss was totally took everyone by surprise. I remember my boss Mike walk in and tell me “Harry you might want to do Action but you are a complete natural when it comes to comedy”.
So my message out here is don’t be a stickler for your own assumptions. Try things as they come by and you would definitely find something about yourself. Whether it is in your favour or not but you would definitely learn something new “which is the way ahead”.
Well if someone is to ask me the similarity between movie production and creativity, I would tell them that the only possibility of a similarity between the two is a producer identifies what creativity is. A producer would see directed scripts and analyse whether the audience would appreciate it and in the process perceive whether the Produce in the form of an act or movie would or would not be accepted by the audience.
A producer has also to be very creative in which he or she would be marketing the product. For example when Pirates of the Caribbean was released some producers asked their cinema staff to dress up like Captain Jack Sparrow. As marketing is the key to success therefore the business of Movie or Stage Show production is like a web which entangles three aspects, one being the Directed Movie, Second the Finance and third the marketing. If you take another look at all these together it adds up to a fact called creativity.
Therefore I once again say in movie production, creativity is like the most defining aspect to make a movie possible. In other words it is safe to say that Movie Production is in some way or the other Creativity at its very best.
Below are some really amazing quotes from some very successful personalities in the Movie Industry. Their work id truly inspirational and we get to learn a lot of what they think and what inspires them the most and what that feel about success.

The job of a Producer is to always trust his instinct, well a producer makes you watching a show, movie, act or performance reality. A producer will have to invest firstly faith and secondly finance on any of the above. Only the appreciation of the audience will get a producer return on investment. If you were to take into account the risks involved with a movie production house you would think twice before taking the jump.
To think of it Tom and Jerry would not be made possible for us to view had it not been for the trust MGM (Metro Goldwyn Mayer) invested in it or for a matter of fact had Frank Marshall not thought of Jurassic World being close to what he deems a success, it would not be possible for us to see a block buster of that magnitude today.
I would once again say that there are many things that an individual has to keep in mind when having up movie production but if you have the courage to make Dreams to Reality don’t think twice and enter into the production business.
Stay tuned and I will share some great quotes from some very successful producers.
A Great Interview with Jerry Bruckheimer
Why did I Selected the Production Business?
The question should have in fact not been why but how. I was into the business right since the time I saw my dad acting in his hay days. I remember he used to make my sit down and monitor him rehearsing. Even in my tender age then I used to give him valuable suggestions and conduct the process of the act. I think that was my first push into direction. Even in High School we had an act of Othello and the entire act was conducted by me, I was also very active in terms of production Financing of the shows we conducted in college.
So basically direction and eventually production was the blood that used to flow through my veins. Production is a difficult call as it requires a lot of investment and organisation. You need to make sure you have a good script and you will be able to make some return on you financial investment. A part of our job also includes finding new talent. Therefore I am connected with various acting classes and institutes in Australia.
We are also looking to start or own teaching academy and are in the process of affiliating with various institutions which excel in the same. Nicholson’s Academy which is located in Perth is one such acting class which has provided us with some very valuable talent. All I can say is that to become a successful producer you never need to let go of the basics and you always need to keep in mind that you started at the very same point at one given point of time.
This is obviously no set rule or judgement, it is just what I keep in mind and emphasise as a producer and director.
